If you are switching between 1x and EVDO you are going to have it running down the battery faster than leaving it in 1x mode. I run Intx's Mortscript he made in my previous battery life thread regarding texting and it is convenient.

Just because you switch ROMS and get better battery life/performance does not mean that the tweaks you had on the previous ROM are still in the new ROM. Always double-check your Reg settings, you might find that some settings are not what they were before. Oh, and get 6.5

I'll update later, I just found some new tweaks and have had the phone @ 100 percent since 12:00PM today, so I'm going to run it until it dies and get back. @ 70 percent now. ETD: 1-1.5 days hopefully, I'll leave it unplugged tonight.

EDIT: 29 hours and still going. 20% battery life left, made a few extra battery tweaks today.

5 ) How many minutes on the phone do you spend on the average each day? Probably only 20 minutes.
6 ) How many data related activities do you do? Include how frequent you check e-mail. I check my e-mail a few times a day and use Opera Mini for about 15 minutes on average.

Wow Clutchypoo that's a long lasting battery. I wish mine lasted that long but you get twice as many texts or three times as many as I do.

I got my battery yesterday, and looking at the instructions made me think. How often are people with good battery life going between ROM flashes vs. how long are the people with craptastic battery life going between flashes? The instructions with my battery are to fully charge for 8 hours min. and they say that I may need 5 or 6 full discharges/recharges to notice big gains. I wonder if the phone has a bit of a battery memory itself and if you keep flashing, it forgets. I know that I usually need a couple charges to get any sort of reliable battery life. Just a thought.

There isn't a cab but just searching for regedits and some of the hacks mentioned in this thread and others seem to help. There was a nice guide posted in another recent thread about battery life but the name escapes me.
