Re: Bricked DIAM100?

Have not seen a GSM brick for awhile. This is a great example for everyone to read the entire first post of a ROM thread. It clearly states that this is for CDMA use only.

Re: Bricked DIAM100?

You should go over to the XDA Developers fourm for Diamond users. They are mostly GSM, and can likely help you better there. You can likely get it un-bricked.

Hey, Tobey -- didn't you mention something about a new kitchen a while back?? What's happening in Tobey's world?
I've gone through four or five of my own kitchens... but honestly there isn't anything worth playing with at the moment.

6.5 looks as though it's getting to the point where it's worth sticking with, but until there are native VGA canvases, manila, etc... I'll be holding out.

I hear J is coming out with something new though...

Indeed. But I missunderstood the beginning of the thread. The "No CDMA /NO SPRINT" et.c. part I really got backwards. I understood it like "if you don't have this, your good to go"...

Thank you all anyway

3g is possible on any carrier. It just maens that is can support high speed packet data. If you have a sim card it is GSM. If its GSM, you now have a very well designed, shiny, expensive paperweight, doorstop, hockey puck, or whatever you can dream up! With the HTC diamond, the possibilities are endless!
