Re: Can't Turn Data On

I'm noticing now that Text are coming through on time only after a hard Reset. Like something is getting stuck on the tower or something.

Re: Can't Turn Data On

Hard reset is; Vol Down + Enter holding while pressing restart and holding till the screen pops-up correct? Or do I need to press the softbutton? I have tried about 15 times and unless i'm hitting up or down instead of reset I can't get it to pop the dialog.

Yeah you need to hit the Softrest button too. They guiys at the Sprint store did it for me, but I can get it to work. So I use the "Clear Sorage " under settings.

Re: Can't Turn Data On

Nah, you can do it like this.. take out the battery, then put it back in but do not power up.. now press and hold, vol down then center/circle button, then power (so you're holding all three down, just do the power part last) the white screen will come asking if you want to proceed press volume up.. you're resetting! No need to contort using the soft reset button.

be careful of what you're changing and doing in that area!!! You can mess up your phone big time if you're not sure what you're doing. I would not think that this area would be affected by late text messages. Texts are not "data".... the delay responsibility is probably elsewhere!

Re: Can't Turn Data On

I didn't, but I got it to work. The problem was that it was popping up instantly and since I was already holding down in went into boot loader just had to let go a second before and it work.

But, Data still doesn't work.....
