I dyed mine black using the Rit Dye method and it works great!!

Just did it with Rit Dye, come out really nice. It was really easy, when I first started I was like what am I getting myself into but about an hour later it was black and on my phone.

No the dye didn't stick to it, I even did the stylus and it didn't stick to the metal part or the tip for some reason.

Did it stick to the part of the stylus you see when its in the phone? I forgot to toss my stylus into the pot, lol.

I'm a fan of the Rit dye method, but I decided to try the Sharpie method. It worked great! I gave it a light coat of clearcoat to keep it there longer. Well, not exacly clearcoat, more of a matte finish. Looks great though. Just thought I'd update everyone after trying the second method finally.

Ya the dye sticks to the stylus, only the part you can see when its in your phone.

Darn. I even tried to do mine with green dye, in hopes it would come out like a forest/hunter green, but i guess the red was already too dark of a color, cause mine is black, except in direct sunlight then you can see a hint of the red and shimmer underneath. I really like it, just wish it was green. Lucky TP users get greay/silver to start with, i bet those can be dyed to any color you can think of.
