Email Received Time Incorrect After ROM Update

I figured if I tried one of these customized ROM's, that might solve my problem. So, I loaded the Mighty ROM. I cleared both main storage and the 4GB internal storage before flashing. It is very cool, but my email issue is still there!!! I don't get it. Apparently, the issue is not with the phone. Verizon tells me that they are sending the correct date and I tend to believe them, as outlook on my laptop shows the correct received time. Does anyone have any ideas? I am getting desperate to fix this.
