I'm pretty sure it was in ABC mode.

Someone else here that could test this for me? Open up Calendar and make a new appointment and tell me if it gives you a spacebar at the bottom of the keyboard when you try to type in the subject... or if it just gives you a .com and / button.

Thank you for testing that for me.

It's a bummer because this EzInput 2.0 is so much more responsive and has much better key placement. But I guess I'll have to use the older versions since I rely on the calender quite a bit and having messages like "take/cat/to/humane/society/and/trade/it/in/for/dog" just isn't that appealing (well... for more reasons than one).

Is there a registry edit that might fix this so the right keyboard comes up in calendar?

I really like this keyboard, but a few issues (mostly known, but would love for it to be fixed)
I really really liked the 348550 build but I couldn't stand having my hardware keyboard (Touch Pro on Sprint) "broken" (ie, the FN, shift, and SYM keys don't work). I really liked how you could choose in the SIP chooser which keyboard you wanted (compact/full), and how it changed automatically depending on the context.

I switched to the 33633 build to get my hardware keyboard to work (which at least the FN and shift keys do...SYM doesn't seem to work at all on the ROM I'm using, though FN-SYM will open the web browser, so I know the key at least "works"). I don't like the layout as much as I did on the 345550 build, but I suppose I can live with it. But unfortunately I also have the problem when entering calendar appointments where there is no space bar. Also, I would love the functionality to be able to switch between the keyboards in the SIP chooser again.

I really hope a new version comes out that is like 348550, but works on the Touch Pro/Fuze.

also mystery, may i recommend you cook ezinput 1.5 or ezinput2 into your ROMs because I bet most people prefer it to 2.1 and that way we don't have to spend an extra 5 megs installing the cab over the flash
