just open up the zip file and then the Skin folder, and you should have 3 files "SKIN" "skin1" and "SKIN 2" just rename the SKIN file with something else and rename "skin1' to SKIN and that should do it, i did it before putting the files in my phone so i didnt do the soft reset and it work.

You shouldn't have to soft reset to change skins. Just select different SIP, let it load. Then reselect Finger Keyboard.

go into the skins folder and rename the skins text file. rename skin1 to skin or however you want. post 2 also has instructions.

reef, i removed everything and still get the remove old version before new version can be installed. i unregistered and softreset and its not even in my options of keyboards to pick. which cab in first post are you guys using? 1,2,3 or what?

I unregistered then deleted the old fingerboard folder, then uninstalled from the programs list then soft resetted the phone. I then installed the wvga cab from first post and then copied the skins folder from second post to the new fingerboard 2.0 skins folder.

I used the first cab and then overwrote the files with those in the skins.
I deselected the finger keyboard, unregestered and deleted the folders, soft reset, and then ran the cab. Copied the skins over, soft reste again and then selected the finger keyboard.
I noticed that even the glossy works in landscape, but the spacebar is not colored.

before i screw up, on the language boxes, just check eng. only or what? check all as it is?

i personally left it as is which is with all the languages checked. Don't really know the difference with just english checked.

Has anyone tried this keyboard for the Omnia? If so, what are the advantages over the standard Samsung Keyboard?
