Kansas City KS I am on Sprint 1.11 with good download speeds and signal strength. Phone does seem to be a little hot though. I was thinking of trying Telus but am trying to get some feedback first.

Re: Radios and Best Locations (A Great List of 51 Cities!!!)
Can I flash that radio on a Diamond with no mods? I notice the radio versions that the TP users are on are the same as Diamonds, ie. Sprint 1.11 and Telus 1.04.

Re: Radios and Best Locations (A Great List of 51 Cities!!!)
OK, I have been on the fence between the Telus and the Sprint V1.11.00F. I was convinced that Telus was better until today when I had to go outside the Austin city limits to my mom's house. I was getting a weak 1X and did a quick flash to the Sprint radio. I got EV and signal strength increased(data speed went up as well).
EDIT: I've noticed that my phone is a tiny bit warmer with 1.11.00 but it's an acceptable trade off. EDIT: Switched back to Telus. Heat seemed to be getting worse with both Sprint radios. Last edited by watzone69; 04-20-2009 at 11:36 PM. |
