Re: Radios and Best Locations(40 Cities Listed!!!)

For Buffalo, New York, it's Telus all the way!

I rank the 3 in this order (for those who care)

1. Telus
2. VZW
3. Sprint (I'll admit this is certainly better than the original Radio, but it is NOT up to snuff compared to the Telus Radio.

2) VZW(great signal, no late messages, but heat isn't great)

Re: Radios and Best Locations(40 Cities Listed!!!)

The Telus radio seemed to add an additional 1 to 2 bars here in St Louis, MO and does not heat up as much as the Sprint radios. Battery seems like it might be draining a little faster but the signal is much better. The newer Sprint radio was about the same as the stock radio. Haven't tried the VZW radio and will probably stick with the Telus.

Re: Radios and Best Locations(40 Cities Listed!!!)

I just got my Sprint Diamond two days ago.
Immediately after activation, I flashed the Sprint Radio 1.11.00F and RSTG Sprint Custom Rom v2.7.34.
First day/night, battery life was terrible, and phone was very hot.
Second day I was looking for another radio, but instead I updated to PRL 60652.
Heat immediately decreased, and battery life is pretty good.
I haven't tried other radios yet because I'm waiting for a new ROM to flash.
Once I go to flash a different ROM, I'll experiment w/ the radios.

FYI - I've tested it in different areas of the Inland Empire in So Cal.
Right now I'm in Redlands, CA
