I could never get ICR to open with Mighty 4.6 either. I am pretty sure others had the same problem. Its a known issue with Mighty 4.6.

Re: ***UPDATED: CDMA/GSM HTC Diamond/Pro: Call Recording (3/16)

LOL so i guess that all these years MS has been blowing smoke when they said that call recording could not be accomplished due to a "known hardware limitation".

HA...just needed the right dll to unlock it for us

Re: ***UPDATED: CDMA/GSM HTC Diamond/Pro: Call Recording (3/16)

usingROM 1.05.666.0 on a touch pro CDMA I cannot get this to work. I get the "start recording" option but no tone. When I am done the call it shows a call log but the timer is always zero seconds... any ideas?

Re: ***UPDATED: CDMA/GSM HTC Diamond/Pro: Call Recording (3/16)

wavedev.dll already exists in my mightyROM 4.7, and when I try to replace it with the one in this thread I get a access denied type of error in PocketRAR.. anyone know what the deal is??

I tested the record option, and although it does record, my voice is like 3 times as loud as the other party.. Is that because I wasnt avle to replace the wavedev.dll??

Probably, hmm... funny, I DIDN'T have wavedev.dll in MightyROM 4.7... most odd indeed...

Re: ***UPDATED: CDMA/GSM HTC Diamond/Pro: Call Recording (3/25)

Anyone know why the other caller is getting distorted, when listening to the recording??

EDIT --- Solution Found ----

LOL... I just figured out my problem with the InCallRecorder tweak... I had my phones in call Volume turned all the way up.. Thats what caused the garbled sound.. I turned the Volume down and now its clear as day...

Thanks, rawdog. Glad to hear it isn't just me that has ICR working on Mighty 4.8.

Special thanks to: XDA in general, monx, indagroove, Calcu, Slypher

If you are a CDMA user, you have one extra step (step 3). GSM users should not do this step (it will mess you up!)

Requirements: Slide To Answer PhoneCanvas for your network type (CDMA S2A for CDMA users, GSM S2A for GSM users).

1) Install the CAB file, "InCallRecording_repacked_monx.cab".

2) Copy everything in the "Copy to Windows" directory into your phone's \Windows directory. Overwrite everything. You will probably need to use Total Commander or similar file manager in order to copy these files.
The files are: ICR_BEEP.wav, ICR_BEEPBEEP.wav, and voAMRNBENC.dll.

CDMA ONLY: 3) Copy wavedev.dll from the "CDMA DLL" folder into your \Windows directory (using Total Commander)

4) Soft reset.

5) Open your new program, "In Call Recorder". Go to options, set Audio Format -> WAV, Store Location -> Card.

6) Start a call. Once the call is connected, hit your right menu softkey and at the very bottom it should show you an option to Start Recording. Call has to be connected (timer must be going) for this not to be greyed out.

7) Files are stored in Storage Card\Recording or Internal Storage\Recording as WAV files. You can also listen to them in Programs > In Call Recorder.

I have it working on: MightyROM 4.8 Diamond, however another user posted and said his is not working...

PREINSTALLED ON:
GrooveROM 4 Diamond
