I'll probably check out the s2p...does it replace the included player on the slide?
no, but if you have s2u2 you can set it so that when ever you plug in the headphones, s2p will load

Re: best mp3 player?

Anyone get the BELL music player working from the Bell UI? From screenshots, that music player looks pretty slick but I'm on a Telus Diamond.

I know the Diamond is a veritable swiss army knife but I still love my iPod Touch.

Actually when I used my phone for music in the past I liked S2P (Slide to Play)... It has the look, feel, and functionality of the music player from the iPod Touch.

A quick web search also found PocketMusic which looks interesting...

I could be wrong, but isn't that dependant on your BT hardware, and not software related?

Also, you should at least try out tcpmp, and see if it can suit your needs because it is free.
Oh snap! Thanks for this one! Was just trying it out and its pretty damn nice and feature packed. Love the radio streaming quality and all.

I too have found Conduits Pocket Player to be the best all around player.

Either of you having the same problem with how long it takes to initially load pocket player? A couple things I would like to see are better organization of shoutcast stations. There is a huge list of genres, and most son't even have stations in those genres. Also, it would be cool if they compiled a database of FM streaming stations.

edit: I guess it appears that most of those genres are used. Crazy number of shoutcast stations...
