best mp3 player?

I don't like HTC mp3 player for a few reasons: it lags when flipping to a next song. creating playlist is a pain, I don't know how to back up the playlist. don't play song from playlist only.

WM player is ok. creating playlist is easier and can be backed up. but it is not touch capaple.

what is your favorite mp3 player?

Okay... I'll be the first jackass to say it.... An iPod?

I know the Diamond is a veritable swiss army knife but I still love my iPod Touch.

Actually when I used my phone for music in the past I liked S2P (Slide to Play)... It has the look, feel, and functionality of the music player from the iPod Touch.

A quick web search also found PocketMusic which looks interesting...

S2P looks nice and simple. can you create playlist?

cool. s2p does not support playlist yet but at least it can list all songs from specific folder. that all I need.

I have been trying out pocket player for a while. It has a great touch interface that is similar to the ipod, and allows you to make play lists easily. Also, it's really good with a large library of music. However, my biggest problem with it is that it takes a really long time to load (15-30 sec). Once you're in, it is fast, though.

Also, you should at least try out tcpmp, and see if it can suit your needs because it is free.

Gotta love my 8gb Slacker and Kinoma Freeplay App for my Diamond. No more worrying about playlists. Just pick my favorite station, and listen.

*Sigh*.......love it.

we know Ipod or iphone is king but we dont have the money to spend another device or carry a second device just to play music. would it be nice if we carry one device and do many things?

meh, I don't have a problem with carrying 2 devices. I guess its just personal preference....

I want to use my phone when I do my dance practice with my partner...just set it to play a song, put it in my pocket and go. Don't have to worry about carrying around a boom box or anything, the speaker is perfect for this.

I'll probably check out the s2p...does it replace the included player on the slide?
