Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
Okay, here's a way to at least easily disconnect your data when you need to without going to the CommManager. This was taken from the Titan forum and it is a reg edite that I used to use on my old Mogul. Props "itsall cooool" to for posting it.
This edit allows you to see the duration of your Vision connection along with a button to disconnect it. You see it in the bubble that is displayed when you tap the Vision icon on the top taskbar (the evdo (or 1x)box). Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Click ControlPanel Click Phone Click the bottom menu 'edit' Select new dword value Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes). Select the 'hexidecimal' button. Type 10 Click ok. You should now see in the 'name/data' section: Flags2 16 (0x00010) exit regedit When done, wait a full minute, then soft-reset the device. This was done this PHMregedit, but this works for RescoExplorer too (what I used) ~Journey |

Since there are no real solutions to automatically disable data connections, while you edited SuspendResume there are options. For those who have e-mail linked to their phone might want to try this:
1. Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons( on the bottom of the screen are tabs, click END tab.) Now check off Automatically execute the selected action. Then check off Terminate data connection. *Note* This option is great for when you notice data connection running. Just hold the END key to turn it off. 2. Having e-mail accounts on your device also start your connection. When setting up accounts you have options whether to Manually check mail or have the device check on a timed basis, the less checks it makes the better on battery life. I have mine set to EVERY 4 HOURS theres also ONCE A DAY. Now After that click ADVANCED SETTINGS and UNCHECK Send/Receive when i click Send. ***That option solves alot of problems. people don't realize with that option active, every time you press the Send key Data connection starts up to check for e-mail. I hope this helps. Would be nice if there was a program that would keep my #777 in Suspend/Resume and automatically disable data connection. Advanced Config & Diamond Tweak dont work, they just set it back to GPRS in Suspend/Resume. Making it impossible to answer phone calls without a delay. |

After trying all the fixes in this thread I still could not recieve calls when the data connection was active.
BUT I think I may have finally solved this issue after playing around with issue for hours. I am running an (Touch Pro on Verizon with stock rom). 1. Navigate to HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\ 2. Delete both of the following keys: "SuspendResume", and "CacheTime" 3. Soft Reset the device 4. Navigate back to the same registry path and ONLY recreate the DWORD value for "CacheTime". And set it to 60 (1 minute connection timeout) 5. Soft Reset the device again 6. Now the auto timeout data connection should work and you should still be able to recieve calls when the connection is active ( at least this works for me). |

Re: Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
WOW it works! It auto disconnects and I can ANSWER PHONE CALLS WHILE DATA IS ON.
But to keep it simple. Just DELETE "SuspendResume" key and keep the "CacheTime" to 60 seconds. RESTART. Quote:
