Hey Jason ... sorry, but I just got back home and found your message. The only thing that I have done to help speed up the ring delay, is to edit the slot cycle index. By lowering it, you will speed up how often your cell phone polls the cell towers. You will need your msl in order to change the value. Default is 2, however I always change mine to 0, and it seems to help. I have never noticed a higher battery drain, by doing this. Below is a link to a thread that will walk you through the process.
