Re: Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
From what I can tell, the SuspenResume value needs to be set to #777 on CDMA devices, otherwise it doesn't know how to suspend an active data connection in order to take the incoming call (this would only affect phones that are currently using data, and not just idle).
has anyone tried just using the other reg tweak, and leaving SuspendResume at #777? It would be nice if I could just trust my phone to turn off the data connection, instead of manually doing it every time. |

Re: Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
After trying all the fixes in this thread I still could not recieve calls when the data connection was active.
BUT I think I may have finally solved this issue after playing around with issue for hours. I am running an (Touch Pro on Verizon with stock rom). 1. Navigate to HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\ 2. Delete both of the following keys: "SuspendResume", and "CacheTime" 3. Soft Reset the device 4. Navigate back to the same registry path and ONLY recreate the DWORD value for "CacheTime". And set it to 60 (1 minute connection timeout) 5. Soft Reset the device again 6. Now the auto timeout data connection should work and you should still be able to recieve calls when the connection is active ( at least this works for me). |

Re: Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
WOW it works! It auto disconnects and I can ANSWER PHONE CALLS WHILE DATA IS ON.
But to keep it simple. Just DELETE "SuspendResume" key and keep the "CacheTime" to 60 seconds. RESTART. Quote:

Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
Thanks for the info. I'll test this out before I do my next ROM dump.
One thing to note though: nuPower tells me that EVDO off mode and suspend mode seem to use about the same amount of power. About 66 mA for me. |

data disconnect seem to work, however, during data session, you will not be able to pick up incoming call.
you may need to hard reset so becareful with this reg hack. |

Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
With both "SuspendResume" and "CacheTime" my connection disconnects AND I can pick up calls during data sessions instantly. Without "SuspendResume", calls come through but take over 5 seconds to actually pick up the call after I answer. It sort of freezes at the answer screen while this happens.

Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
Well I deleted "SuspendResume" and now I can't get a data connection, and I can't put the "SuspendResume" back. PHM Regedit would just freeze and I have tried a few other regedit tools which allow me to put the key back but I still can't get a data connection. Any thoughts???

Re: UPDATE: WORKS!!!! Is there an AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
I would like to add to the question and ask, what was the original Dword Value of the Key? Everything functions fine, except that now, there's a pause WHENEVER I go to use the net, even if the connection is already there, so basically, I restored the key, but now do not remember the DWord value. Any help is appreciated.
