Recieved it yesterday and didn't fit well with the battery cover on, but i managed to get it half fit and it was sturdy enough. I guess it's better than nothing at this point.

Same experience here.

Edit: and I emailed them and told them that it didn't fit, and they agreed that the mounts they had didnt fit the Sprint version of the Diamond(even though they advertised it as specifically for the Sprint Diamond). They told me I had to pay to ship it back to them (even though it was their error), and then they would refund me. So, I had to pay $5 to Ship it back to get a refund of $7.

Long story short, I threw the mount away, and gave them negative feedback! So be careful when purchasing a mount on Ebay or any other online merchant.

I dispise sellers that try that crap. I tell them that it wasn't my fault you sent a crappy part. Tell them that it is false advertisement and they can either refund your money and pay for return shipping or you can report them to ebay. that usualy works for me

I bought the mount from dealextreme, knowing it was for the GSM diamond. I modified it to fit the CDMA diamond by using a lighter to bend the plastic to fit the contours of the CDMA diamond. It worked quite well, although it doesn't look as pretty as it used to, it is fully functional. best 6 bucks I have spent in a while.

BTW, I am not using it in the car, I attach it to the desk in my office so I can use a keyboard and mouse to type emails and browse the web.
