CDMA Diamond windshield mount
 
Has anyone purchased a windshield suction mount that works with a CDMA diamond? I see custom mounts for the GSM diamonds but I think they are a slightly different size. All I can find for CDMA are the universal 'squeeze type'. Any suggestions? thanks

Beware, I found a swivel one with suction mount but it does not fit. It was sold as being made for the Sprint Diamond, but it clearly was not. Technically, you can get it to fit, but you have to use extreme force. The Diamond is too thick for the clip to reach the top edge, so it doesn't actually fully clip in either. The force required to "clip" this thing in would easily scrape the paint off the back cover after a few times, if not break it.

It wasn't until after I bought it that I saw the references to the iPhone in the description, but an iPhone would not fit at all in the mount that I received, so there must be different sizes of this same mount floating around out there, and this seller figured this particular one would fit the Diamond when it doesn't. Oh well, I needed the car charger anyways.

Other than that, I haven't found any mounts other than the clamp type either.

that's what I was afraid of. thanks for the input. Anyone else know of a mount that fits the CDMA diamond?

There are a little on the expensive side but IMO you get what you pay for.

i am using the squeeze type from best buy. its universal so it fit my diamond quite well

I have the same type -- pop off the battery cover, and it fits reasonably well.
