Re: FM Transmitter for windows mobile
wow...im actually surprised that this op is being flamed. Im not sure exactly what the deal is, or if its just me, but a lot of people asking questions on the general side in the general forum are getting flamed now a days.
at the 2 people who mentioned the fact that he has fm radio and would like to play it through his cars stereo. R u serious? is that what you got out of this thread? the op is simply trying to say that since there is fm receiving hardware in the phone, would it be somehow to alter it to produce a transmission. no where did he say that he wants to listen to fm radio via his car stereo, being transmitted on a radio station. to be honest, the people that even bothered to comment in regards to that(radio through car radio) are assenine im sorry everyone, and i know my thanks count isnt as big as tobey's. but i just wanted to giv that rant. as for the question mentioned: unfortunately i dont think that its possible to alter the code of the hardware and allow it to transit, or at least i know that I do not have that knowledge. But i do know that this is a question that i had always wondered about, because some knockoff chinese branded mp3 players had built in fm transmitters and fm radio as well. I think the idea is in fact hardware related and that the diamond lacks the hardware, so i doubt it would b possible

Re: FM Transmitter for windows mobile
ud want to transmit fm so that u can listen to ur music in the car, or transmit your calls to the car without having to purchase a fm transmitter and carrying it, or even without having to run any extra wires...there are many reasons.
ive personally never been with a carrier that offers that in a phone. |

isnt is lovely that ur teaching me a spelling lesson while you hadnt spelt it correctly the first time you used it. lol and i didnt mean that it was asinine to think that the op wanted to do that, but to get angry/be mean to the op was asinine in collaboration with thinking of the specific instance. |

Re: FM Transmitter for windows mobile
As far as I know, the only phone that has FM transmitter built in is the LG Fusic (LX550).
This however worked fairly poorly and isn't very conventional to use. It's qualiry loss and static is not usually worth the convience. If you want to transmit the sound through FM stations then try buying one of those FM transmitter 12v things that plug into your car. |
