I know that we can atleast, somehow, send our screens' live image out to another screen (bluetooth???), because there is a video on youtube of htc's cmo showing off his diamond with a huge screen right behind him showing what he is doing. but he was controlling his diamond right from the phone..

nah... more like just got the phone tonight, and had a perfect ammount of beer pong lol.

but yeah, even with the 6700, there is a program that allows you to view the htc screen on the computer.... in fact you can control it from the computer using the mouse like normal.

I want to cut out the computer and well, basically just enlarge the screen for when I'm in the car...
So, The main problem, is well.... finding a way to acheieve this without a seperate program... Some kind of driver / software package to install on the PPC that allows the speciallized usb connection to transfer the PPC image directly to a touchscreen, and the controls from the trouchscreen to directly control the ppc.
Just like the program available, but no computer involved... just the ppc, an output to a screen, and the input from the touchscreen controller.

Not even sure if it is possible... (been loooking for a while.... very interested in a carputer, and GPS + internet, well... a lot of stuff people want in a carputer is already right in the phone, just on too small a screen)

Well, i'm sure it IS possible.... but the software that makes it possible would have to be designed into some sort of circuit to be interfaced as hardware.

but, to my defense... I did try and keep most of it relevent about the differences and capabilities of these phones, enhancements, etc and besides, I don't smoke shot guns nor fail bong rips. quarters of scwagg is nasty. I'll stick to 2 hits from my 1/8 of pineapple kush

Only your opinion as with a few others compared to how many have been sold. We as heavy users happen to be more critical over our phones than most others that have bought it. I personally have no problems with MY Touch Pro at all. NONE. In fact, I traded my diamond for the TP as I had a slew of problems with it including a raised d-pad, sluuuuuuugish behavior, 2 hour bat life, speaker sounding as if you were in a tin can, numerous reboots for no reason, and yes, a creaking back. So the diamond has it's faults as well as the TP. Quit your freakin bashing and get a girlfriend.

WHATS FUNNY is in the TP section there is a thread just like this with people that hate the pro and are switching to the diamond. i use both everyday, and personally i like the diamond more.

I don't have the pro but I will say this,the Diamond is very compact to carry in the pocket. This is coming from a guy who NEVER carried a phone in his pocket. I always used a clip on my waist to carry previous phones for the past 10 years. So I would say for the ease of carry, the Diamond is the way to go. Obviously, if memory is an issue , then the Pro is the phone of choice. I have also heard about the build quality of the Pro being an issue. The build quality of the Diamond is excellent. One small issue I have though is that sometimes when I remove the Diamond from my front pocket, the cover jars lose. That is to say it unclicks at times.Battery time is an issue but I solved that problem by carrying a spare OEM battery

but the pole indicates that more are in favor of the TP. Lke here, more are in favor of the diamond. I liked the diamond to. But I, not like sprinttouch08, don't come into the diamond forums bashing it, especially when I don't own one. This, my phone is better than your phone crap has got to stop.

haha, but bringing up blackberrys! cmon, ive played around with a few different blackberrys and i just cant get past that stupid clit/trackball thing. id so much rather be able to use my phone via a touchscreen. far more, better people develop for wm, and most of the time you can find just about everything free too.

in my opinion, really the only thing a blackberry has on wm is their email. on wm you can only have it check every 15 mins, but on bb's its automatic- as soon as you get the email it will show up on your phone too.

unless you are referring to gsm, im pretty sure the memory is going to be exactly the same on both the diamond and tp...288 mb's total. so i guess it should be more like, if you like having tons of extra thickness in your pocket, go pro!
