Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

Well I'll remain optimistic that my vibration motor doesn't give up. *crossing fingers*

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

Bah it won't kill it. If it does then your vibrator is defective and you get your phone replaced. Vibrate motors are supposed to last a HELL of a long time. I know I have a 5 year old Samsung phone that I had set to vibrate on everything practically, used it for 2 years and currently my mom is using it on here Sprint line and its still going strong.

Don't be scared of that, if the program breaks your vibrator motor then it should rightfully be replaced you have a defective phone.

My motor died and I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the app (which I used for all of 5 minutes before uninstalling.)
Pretty sure it was just a defective phone (and Sprint seems to think the repair guy said he had already seen a few phones with the same problem)

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

There you have it, if Sprint is recognizing it I'm sure our phones will get replaced no questions asked if the vibration motor fails.

I for one have been using it for two weeks, and all my notifications and alarms vibrate like crazy and the motor is going strong and I don't expect it to die out any time soon. Just because a few Diamond owners pop up in the forums saying that their motors died doesn't mean that every Diamond's motor is faulty. In these situations is just luck of the draw and it isn't mentally healthy to be living in fear of it dying. At least thats my $0.02. Hammer the **** out of it!! If it dies thats why you got an insurance plan right?

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

I have to admit I love this little app. Thank you for taking the time to put this out . If the vibration motor fails then it's a defect of the phone and it should be swapped out for you with no issues. Sprint seems to be very fair when it comes to these situations.

Re: Touch Response With Vibrate Is Now Available!

I know this is unrelated, but just wondering.
Has anyone tried Glight and is it worth messing with on the Diamond? It's also listed on the freewarepocketpc.net
Thanks.

Enjoy cooks!
I am trying to install this on my Touch Diamond. How do I get the file to open and install itself?

I also want to state my appreciation for this app. It works very nicely and enhances the typing experience greatly.
