Don't be scared of that, if the program breaks your vibrator motor then it should rightfully be replaced you have a defective phone.

My motor died and I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the app (which I used for all of 5 minutes before uninstalling.)
Pretty sure it was just a defective phone (and Sprint seems to think the repair guy said he had already seen a few phones with the same problem)
