Diamonds on eBay

I got mine off ebay, no problems for two months now. Been working perfect and jut as described. Bought from someone with about 30 feedback, but it was all phones and all positive.

I bought mine from Ebay for $170 buy it now after the MS live.com 25% cashback and 10% off ebay coupon I had.

The seller was MOBITELE and he had around 110 feedback at the time around 99% positive. He had lots of touch pros and diamond buyers.

It turns out it's an Asurion claim. Everything is fine right now, I just hope nothing happens . D

I just received mine. It came with Asurion stuff. The phone activated just fine. I bought it from infitelusa [3818]. I repeatedly mentioned this to the guy who was activating the phone. He said it's not a Sprint issue. Hope everything will be okay.

Ordered on a friday night, he shipped on sat, received on tues (would've been monday, but I had to go sign for it). 255 buy-it-now - 25% cashback. Not shipped from asurion or anything, activated over the phone with no surcharge or hassle. Works perfectly.

also got my diamond from dj_redd off ebay. won and paid for on tuesday night, shipped wednesday morning and arrived on saturday morning. phone is not a refurb and was in brand new condition!

Also bought from eBay user "mobitele." Purchased 11/26, arrived 12/1. Activated fine, but it also came straight from Sprint with a return envelope and Asurion card. I'm wondering if HTC will honor the mfg. warranty on this thing.

Also, I wonder if there's a chance that the seller is returning other models of phones to "upgrade" to TP/Diamond and having them drop-shipped to the buyer.

Not sure how it works, but I'm afraid to leave positive feedback for the seller at this point. It doesn't appear to be legitimate at all. He has almost 100% feedback, that's why I trusted it was on the up-and-up.

Anybody else buy from this guy?

I got from the same guy too, did not come with any Asurion stuff, haven't been billed yet from sprint, i havent left any feedback yet, did u get charged anything extra on ur sprint bill??

Argh, I just bought one last week from "lkcarter502". Low feedback but he sold all phones with positive feedback. It was pretty cheap (~140 after live cashback + paypal coupon). Paypal usually sides with the buyer for chargebacks if you stick to their requirements and guidelines so I gambled. He told me it's coming this week so we'll see. Anyone with an Asurion phone have problems so far? I figured if it activated I'd be good. Didn't think something like shipping an insured phone to a non-billing address would be possible nowadays???

You're fine - he took over a week to ship, and when he did, he used next-day air. I apologize for not leaving the appropiate neutral feedback on his account to help future buyers. Communication was very poor.

I was a bit confused to see it come from (apparently) a Sprint warehouse in Kentucky - I got a refurb or something? Because I couldn't tell - came with all the paperwork, everything was shrink wrapped, sealed, etc. Phone has been running awesomely.

And yeah, cashback is awesome. I paid $120 for a contractless Diamond after cashback + 10% off from PayPal.

There's a ##XXXX# type code that you can check to see if your phone is a refurb or not. I forgot what it was, I typed it earlier today when activating my Diamond.
