Re: Puerto Rico Sprint User's Be Aware
No wonder why I moved away from PR.

Re: Puerto Rico Sprint User's Be Aware
I'm live PR and mine works fine as far as signal for phone calls. What doesn't work is the EVDO Rev. A on my phone but if I disable it the standard EVDO internet works fine. Hopefully this will be fixed.

Re: Puerto Rico Sprint User's Be Aware
I'm at PR too and find that problem the hard way. To use my phone I changed the settings to CDMA only and I can connect to the internet. I don't know about the network speed because this is my first Sprint phone, my last one was a Hermes from ATT.

Re: Puerto Rico Sprint User's Be Aware
If you go into the #778, enter your msl and choose view info. A drop down menu should come down and you can pick data parameters from there. Where it says EVDO Rev. A you should turn it to disabled. This fix is for people who can't get an internet connection.

As for my EVDO experience, the phone has been awesome even with only Rev.0 and my D/L speeds have varied from 500k - 1,400k on DSL Report's MSpeed. |

Re: Puerto Rico Sprint User's Be Aware
I know of ONE person with a Diamond who fought back and forth with Sprint about his internet provisioning and Rev.A issues and he supposively has his Diamond running with Rev.A here in PR.
He's one of my employee's cousins and I'm pending to get into contact with him to get some feedback from him and see if he in fact is on Rev.A or on Rev.0 like some of us found out works. |
