Thanks to Juggalo for the regedit, but my Diamond (Sprint) still has that issue! Any ideas?
Everyone has been great in the past...

Based on what I read there appears to be a problem with the cab. Just go to the first post and follow the information I provided, and you should be fine.

Hope you can help me....I had the same problem as you, using PHM I opened "settings" and there was a key with what seemed like a blank value. I edited it and input #777. I tried to save and it seemed to hesitate then when it refreshed the folder "settings" now has nothing in it and I can't expand or contract the menus. I closed PHM and reopened, I can get into the Ssettings" folder but its still blank and I don't know how to fix it. My dumb *** didn't do a backup prior (yeah lesson learned) and I'm scared I'm not going to get any calls now.

NEVERMIND! The cab a few posts up fixed it all for me. Thank you!

Thanks in advance!

This has bee driving me nuts also.

It worked THANKS, but does anyone else have the problem with the the phone just lighting up for the first two rings and not actually ringing. That only leaves me 3 three rings till Telus message center takes over.

Yep I am on Alltel and on many calls i can see the phone icon come up and light ring respond, but the phone will not ring until anout the 3rd time then S2U2 caller ID will finally come up. Do you have S2U2 installed?

Re: Solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

On the Alltel Diamond. I see this key has the GPRS string, so when I run the cab or manually change to #777 I get an error bubble that saying that the phone tried to dail up to Alltel #777 but could not connect. If I revert back to the previous key Data works fine.... I am on the stock Alltel rom with advanced config and diamond tweaks. The stock config had only about 1 hour of battery life, now I have it up to 5-6 hours using tweaks.-6

Just to explain what you experienced--I found that even a soft reset did not fix the problem. But once I used another registry editor and corrected the value, everything went back to normal.

yea, I hear of issues with phm. but never dotfred's FdcSoft taskmanager,, I highly recommend that..
also if the cab doesn't work, uninstall, and try again. with reboots. also make sure your data connection is OFF when applying the cab or reg edit for best results.
