what program would you recommend? and would that cab fix the problem if i kept diamond tweak? or should i just use something different. If i use something different, can i still use the themes? thanks

just dont mess with any diamond tweak that mentions calling or answering or internet and the cab should be fine, but save the cab incase you accidently hit something and the problem comes back. yes that cab just changes the registry for you.

The section of Diamond Tweak that will cause this problem is under:
6. Data (GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA)
6.1 Disconnect After - Do not change it from the default of Disabled.

If you have already changed it you will need to do the registry hack because changing it back will not fix the registry.

BTW, if we'd all read the fine print before selecting this item (I admit I didn't) it says "MAY disable simultaneous voice, data connections.

THANKS. which cab do i use? i don't rememeber messing with that one. but it doesn't mean i didn't. if it doesn't help ill prolly end up doin a hard reset. if thats the case, whats a different/better program to use?

are you being serious?! you just click on it and the zip program that comes with the phone will take care of the rest then just click on the cab to install like every other cab.

thanks but it didn't work (i installed everything ok, but still couldn't get it to answer). i am just going to hard reset. is advanced config any good? i was going to use that instead of diamond tweak

both of these apps were written oversea's for gsm phones, so both have this "bug".
It shouldn't be an issue if you run one to do the tweaks you want to, then fix this reg, and never touch the utility again..

edit ;also wanted to make sure you rebooted the phone before and after changing the reg

I still had the problem after running Juggalo's cab also. I had to manually code the registry to correct it.
