Re: Increase screen sensitivity??

Seems like HTC tried to make a hybrid between a "stylus" responsive screen and a "finger tip" responsive screen. Anyone know the "technology" behind their effort?

1) Is it a physical issue with the screen? I understand that the Diamond screen is resistive, rather than capacitive like the iPhone, but did they do something with the actual screen to enhance the responsiveness to the fingertip? It seems like there is a thicker glass-like material on the screen, rather than a softer screen like on the Palm Centro for example (the Centro is much more responsive to the stylus in my opinion).

2) Or is it purely a ROM issue that can be altered, at least in part, as discussed in this post?

3) Or a combo of both # 1 and # 2.
