Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
I played around with the connection; now everytime I connect, it asked for login ID and password.
anyone know how to get rid of this login process? what is your connection name? Juicy Rom named it "Data" but I renamed the connection to "Sprint" |

Re: Tethering Fix Right Here!
Sorry for the Newb question, but how do I tether with the diamond? I'm upgrading from a PPC6700, and I remember when I set up my PPC connection (years ago) I simply had to run the program sprint gave us on the phone, and the CD that came with the phone had a PPC6700SP dialer program. Its worked great for years.
Now with the diamond, I tried (after installing this cab) turning on "internet sharing" and it says "check USB cable" on the phone, and my PC doesn't recognize the phone as a modem? I tried running the PPC6700 dialer and I get "remote error". I tried adding a dialup connection in control panel and again it doesn't show my diamond as a modem. Sorry for my ignorance, but can anybody tell me how to set this up? |
