Most of these arent needed to unblock the ability to tether without paying for phone as modem...

I have a questions: Can you use "internet Sharing" to tether with diamond out of the box (without any registry hacking) ? without being charged of course

I am tethering right now but I did not do anything but I did install "Diamond Tweak 0.5 cab" . Does this cab file include tethering hack?

If you tether out of the box you will be charged. As for your other question I am unsure.

Thanks for the cab. Works great. Now gotta monitor my usage to for my next bill to make sure I don't get charges.

I did this and I can Tether without issues. Although I do have to establish a data connection first(Open PIE or Opera): Completely delete the registry key HKLM\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings\ForceCellConnec tion

Anyone know whether I should also do the following entries:
