yep, it blows google maps and live search off the planet. its up there w/ tom tom and the other paid ones in look and feel as stated, and even though it is dependant on coverage, the maps are ALWAYS updated as the maps come OTA backed by telenav.

Hey any of you guys with the Sprint Diamond, are you able to change the TF3D theme back to the default HTC one? Or at least change the clock animation back to the alarm clock style?

edit: Without hacks or TF3D config?

i would like to know the same as well. ive heard the tf3d customizer have been giving the Sprint users issues. on top of that, i like the sprint stuff believe it or not, I just want the default clock

Same here really. I don't mind the Sprint stuff, I just would like the clock changed.

And I can't change a bunch of stuff for the first 60 days because I'm gonna have to show it to customers and stuff.

After that I'm probably off to custom ROM land.

Sorry if this question has been answered, but I could not locate it in search...
- How do you turn off the 'Message Sent' notification? Its driving me nuts.

Also, is anyone else losing text messages between the TFLO screen and the actual threaded text message screen? Sometimes the messages show up, and some times they show up on the TFLO screen, but not when you reply.

I have to admit that right now, I am leaning toward returning the Diamond and sticking with my Touch. The screen is really the only thing that is truly impressive with this phone. My Touch is working perfectly with the specialized ROM, and it just seems like it is working quicker.

Anyone else have this same feeling? When can we expect to see some performance tweaks? I want to give it a real chance.

i also would like the gsm clock back, and please don't reply about XDA themes (black version) which does mimic the gsm version but the lag is so bad, sprint version is so much better and faster, i would take the clock only if it has the same speed has the sprint version

I was thinking of that aswell. Honestly I like everything in this package except the clock. I would like to have the flip down one. I did go thru almost all the options on the phone and its no where to be found. We are going to have to just wait and she if someone fixes that.

Honestly I have not used the texting as much to see that issue. But as for the quickness of it... its up to par with the Touch in my opinion. And yes the screen is beautiful! I can actually read the internet without zooming in.! We will have to wait and see.... remember that the GSM Diamond has a sluggishness to it aswell.. then tweaks came out and overall it did speed up. Its still too fresh.

Has anyone else notice that sometimes Opera wont load? It has happen to me yesterday and today. I just soft reset and its fixed.

no issue there for me, but i am having an issue where my all messages tab in the text messagintap will fail to open, requiring a reset
