CDMA HTC Diamond accessories thread (Sprint/Telus/?)

Any good screen protectors? There is a diamond GSM version and a diamond pro version on boxwave. The latter looks like it just might fit. But when or where is one made for the CDMA diamond?

The diamond comes with its own screen protector. It has a cutout for the ear speaker and the bottom is contoured to the hard buttons. It doesn't even look like there is one on once you apply it.

That battery is for GSM, presuming to be 900mAH. The battery needed for CDMA is 1340mAH.

I just ordered the other day accessories for the Sprint Diamond which was clearly marked as such on their website. Now I go back and the "Sprint" is taken off, just CDMA Diamond. Of course when I checked the battery, it says 1100. I am NOT happy after placing an order for 96.00.

I just fired off an email to them voicing my dissatisfaction. I sure hope they have not shipped yet.

You can get a battery for the Sprint Touch Diamond from Expansys. Someone from Sprintusers did and it worked. I couldn't find a link to just the battery but I did find a link to the door + a battery. I wonder if that door will fit our sprint diamonds.

If you call Expansys they may sell the battery by itself without a cover for less. Who will try and get the diamond facet cover to fit the sprint?

Also the GSM Diamond Chargers should work with the CDMA batteries. I modified a $5 Treo 800w charger from Ebay to charge my extra GSM Battery and the original OEM battery. The GSM and OEM Batteries charge fine in the same charger.

Note: Although the 900mAh battery does fit nicely in the Sprint Diamond, the battery meter cannot read how much charge is on the batter. Just shows an empty battery with the exclamation point on it. It does power the device fine. You just don't know when it will die.

This type of charger should work for the Sprint battery also:
