CDMA HTC Diamond accessories thread (Sprint/Telus/?)

Perhaps we can help each other by listing where we can find accessories.

I am looking for spare batteries for the CDMA Diamond (1340mAH). An external battery charger would be nice too. I emailed Seidio asking when they will release for the CDMA version.

From what I can tell, the Touch connectors will work fine on the Diamond.

I'd appreciate any help.

If for any reason someone from Telus wants a Maroon back, I'll trade you for a black one, once I get my device.

I have the Touch charging cradle with spare battery charger. It is the Boxwave. I wonder if this will work with the Diamond.

No. I've got a third party charging cradle as well. The connector is moved over a touch, but more importantly, the connector on the Diamond is flipped. So even if things lined up, the only way it would work is if you had it facing away from you. Stupid HTC...

The new charger from HTC looks pretty sweet, though. Be interesting to see that (at a reasonable price) for the CDMA one. Just as an FYI, I suspect the GSM one won't work, as the CDMA phone is 2mm thicker. But I haven't tried that combination myself.

I thought Sprint did something different with the back that wouldn't make it compatible?? Bigger battery?

Like changeable faceplates, I hope there's changeable backplates, cause ya, that maroon isn't winning any fasion awards imo. Uuuuugly.

Good thing I just bought a new bluetooth headset.. I can leave it in my pocket!

Nah, the Telus plate will fit, it just won't match as parts of the Diamond that aren't removable are maroon.

It's the GSM back that won't fit.
