Re: Diamond lost RAM

Ok So i UnSuperCID'd my device and relocked the phone using the Diamond relocker and then all the RAM came back, 288 MB...so I decided to reflash using the HSPL 0.43 MFG build and then I lost the ram again and its back to 160 MB again

Whats up?!

the .43 bootloader might be causing that. it may not be able to see all the ram. it also has vga issues.

Re: Diamond lost RAM

That is strange. I don't know if the bootloader would have enough to do something like this, but its an idea: it is coding what memory addresses programs can write to, and it has not been designed to code memory pass 160MB. [Just a shot in the dark]

Try the .57 cmonex bootloader - see if that resolves it

Re: Diamond lost RAM

Im not sure now, if it shows all the RAM when i bring it back, then what?

Its intermittent? Will they buy that?

They did see it with 160 RAM, but if he sees the 288 now will they still give me a replacement?

Re: Diamond lost RAM

On a side note: I've been building a ROM in the kitchen but have yet to try and create the NBH and flash it, Im kinda concerned about brincking it. Ive built personal roms for my TyTN before. Does the HardSPL 0.57 work the same as the HardSPL on other HTC devices so that if I flash an OS rom and it goes bad I can always just reflash the stock ROM?

Re: Diamond lost RAM

You're only flashing an OS, it's nearly impossible to brick. You can always just put it in bootloader and flash another ROM.
