Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!

I had to exchange my mogul yesterday and the the "htc diamond appointed sprint rep" said the launch date is Sept. 29th and possibly the touch pro following Oct. 19th or later

I ask sprint rep the other day and they do not know what HTC Diamond is.

So far, we're hearing late September as a possible release... and it's still subject to change. Possibly sooner, possibly... later. However, I just got off our advocate training with the HTC guys and their official stance is late September.

Sure I'll argue. I love to argue (as in friendly banter / debate). You may have been the first one to say it, but I still think the 14th is just a "wish" or "goal" at this point...

The phone could easily slip to the end of the month which I was told from a person in an Exec's office. The customer service levels of Sprint are usually the last to know. At least the Exec's office was coming clean and stating that there were problems, they were being worked on, and depending on how long it took for them to fix it could be 14th or a couple weeks later.

So now were saying the 29? Well.. i had a guy from sprint call me this morning and he left a message on my voice mail.. he said sorry for the delay but the Diamond was pushed to the 14th and will be available to purchase on the stores by the 17th.

I think it will be out on the 14th which is a Sunday. If I remember correctly the original Touch (Sprint) came out on a Sunday last November so I'm not gonna be shocked when it does in fact come out on Sunday 9/14.
