It shouldn't. Non-metallic model paint usually dries pretty fast. I'd say it'd take 1 day to do 3 coats (in and out). Usual procedure would be 1 coat, let it sit for 1 hour (2 hours if you want to be extra careful; flat surface w/ little to no dust in the room), 2nd coat, same...3rd coat...same...then after the 3rd coat is done, just let it sit for several hours and should be dry after 4 horus. If you want to speed the drying process up, put the case under a lamp where the light is shining directly on it.

If you want to add a clear coat or 2, that's up to you, but that obviously would add more time and same procedure.
