Maybe that's Sprint's way of keeping the advocate phones from being sold to the general public?  I'm sure it is reassuring to see the Sprint logo on a phone in someone's hand, though...

True, true...LOL. Marketing is such a funny thing, especially with companies like Sprint that seem to market phones that may not be up to par with their competitors. Nontheless, I definitely think that color is ugly.
You have a good point about the advocate phones and it's definitely reassuring to see a Sprint logo on the phone. Well, for those that were planning on getting the Diamond, I guess you can all hope that alternate backing colors will be available.
