Diamond Release Speculation Thread

The HTC Diamond launch has been postponed. I didn't get a concrete date, but our Advocate program was supposed to start yesterday and today and instead I got an e-mail stating the program has been pushed back two weeks. Looks likes an October release afterall. I'll post a picture of the e-mail later. Sorry everyone...

I just received a text from a local regional manager and he confirmed the diamond is still due to release on the 2nd and the touch pro about a month later.

I think something came up with the instructor for ur training... not the release date.just my thought tho

This was an official e-mail from Sprint Corporate to all managers notifiying them that the HTC Diamond release has been postponed and to cancel an all hands on Advocate training call. I re-confirmed with my regional manager and his manager Playbook has an October 19th release date on it so... you do the math.

So on that note, I think google doesn't have a useable answer for this question, or perhaps I am phrasing the question wrongly.. Personally I am back tracking all the "release" dates on the Mogul and the Touch, to see what the trend was on those and apply it to these releases.

P.S if anything it's entertaining.. I mean never look at the clock when you need to be somewhere or wait for something, it slows it down... (the clock)

Hopefully, the reason for this cancellation was to consider selling the phone at a more competitive price point.

I hope so!!! And I hope if it comes out oct 19th the touch pro comes out the same time. This waiting thing is Krayz !!!

I posted a few weeks ago that the release date was showing the 19th of October along with three other phones and everyone has been throwing around the 2nd of September and so forth but I have seen nothing change. I have seen the same email showing that the advocate program was pushed back a few weeks and I have also verified that the release date on the playbook is October 19th. Things may end up changing but everything is still showing the 19th just as previously stated in this thread.
