Diamond Release Speculation Thread

i would really like to see more of the PRO. The selling point for me is the faster processor and all the internal things. Not necessarily the keyboard

According to the specs I've seen, the pro and diamond have the same processor. (For Sprint)

i think i will get the hope diamond and have it broken up and placed on my phone. do you think they will sell me the hope diamond for $1.00 US?

does anyone have the official specs for the two? if the pro is the same than screw the keyboard. i will take the pocket space

Its the same except for ROM, not RAM. ROM is on-board storage for games and apps. Pro - 512, Diamond - 256. They will run the same speed though because the processors and ram - 288mb (256 + 32mb graphics) are identical.

Only other differences include a flash for the camera on the Pro, not on the Diamond, and the Diamond has 4gb internal storage, no SD card, and Pro has no internal storage and sd card (comes with 1gb card - expandable to 8gb if not more).

I'm getting the Diamond as well because the Pro seems too bulky. I don't need more than 4gbs, and they will perform the same.
