Re: Official Telus Diamond Thread

Hi, i just got my telus touch diamond a few days ago. I've had a crash a few times for no reasons. Has anyone had any issues? Just wondering if it's my device in particular.

Where has it been crashing? I've had no trouble so far. To many programs open? I can't live without making sure my 'X' button actually closes my programs and not minimizes it.

Another annoying little bug is in Opera and you zoom in on a webpage and then flip the phone so you can view the page in landscape. Then scroll. The phone will spazz out and throw you back to the TouchFlo screen.

Question for anyone that knows; can you change the port setting for incoming/outgoing e-mail? Sympatico wants to use port 995 for incomming and not the default 110. Anyone know how to change that in the diamond?

Re: Official Telus Diamond Thread

Thanks to both of you.

As for the port, I tried and it still sits at 'Connecting...' and then eventually times out. Tells to to check my settings. I've more than double checked my phone settings with those in ThunderBird. All right. Weird.

As for the new rom, is 'HTC GPS' refering to QuickGPS? Also, how do I know if my phone is unlocked?

Re: Official Telus Diamond Thread

Thanks realninth! I didn't realize I was not closing programs. I kept pressing the 'back' button and that i just found doesn't really close the programs. I guess it's my novice level with windows mobile. I think that this might do the trick.

HTC GPS Tool is different than QuickGPS.
