Didnt want to change rom and have to reinstall all the apps and games I did yesturday to get a phone that could handle 15min talk time

And for my GPS issue, my friend owns an iPhone and my GglMaps is about 10x more sluggish than is iPhone and EVDO is suposed to be much faster than 3G (at least, thats waht Telus reps are saying)

Will try to find those tweaks your talking about abovelegit, tnk you!

I will recheck it when I have the time, working from home tonight. Accounting isnt all about a great salary and pretty girls you know

From what I can remember, I had set it just like the image in the "dumb-proof" walktrough (wich was nicelly made by the way)

But even when Im walking, I get a small lag, I move like 20-30ft and then the dot moves faster to get to my new location. could it be the IP setings, should I have done a registry edit even if the new cab was set with the new IP adresse??

Have a question here:

I saw in the settings, in the 1x/HDR Security tab, you can set the lock mode at blank (default), never, or on powerup!

Can we make it on powerup?? Will it work or the phone doesnt support it? I always like to have a bit of security but the Diamond doesnt do this by default, you can add a code but it asked you EVERY time you take it out of sleep. I like the powerup option but didnt saw it in the phone's settings by default.

Oh and my GPSone settings were exactly as the picture, so I made the first check "allowed" to be full checked (it was grayed out on the pic and on default)... I just hope Im not screwing something up!!!

I have it its works very well. but it does not supprt VGA yet so its prone to crashing and bugged up display on occasion.

its a closed beta so you have to sign up and they may or may not send you an activation Password and download link.
