Oh come on, saumaun, that is so far from "hot pink" it's not even funny. It actually strikes me as very close to the Moto Q9c's red back.

In any case, it doesn't look as bad as I envisioned it being, but I would still have preferred it stay black.

I have to disagree. If accurate, it's way worse than I imagined. Makes the gloss black face look out of place. I'd prefer a solid color, even if that color was maroon (or hot pink )

As long as it performs, I really couldn't care if it was green and yellow.
It just needs to keep up with my day to day business activities.

As someone stated, the back can always be replaced.

I really really really hope that that is not the official back of the pro or diamond. Why would they want to make it any other color than black. The only other color acceptable would be silver. Any other color on a phone this expensive makes it look like one of those cheap *** razor. The do know that 90% of the people buying this phone will probably be guys.

Then another thing is the purple on the home screen that you scroll. Why would they make that purple. I was afraid they were going to make it yellow but purple is much worse.

Sorry i'm negative it's just after waiting for this phone and seeing what all the other carriers or doing like leaving it black and leaving it as a rectangle we get this phone with clown colors.

Meh.. maroon is fine. Sure hope there are color options like black and maroon.. who knows. I think at this point my mind is made up.. im going to get a Diamond, not a Touch Pro. Its thinner, its sleeker, it has the same amount of RAM, (ROM doesnt matter to me) and the 4GB is good enough for what I'm ever going to put on it. I love the mogul keyboard to death, but with these onscreen keyboard choices and the accelerometer to auto-rotate to landscape, I can live without it.

Sprint should really try not to hire people who are color blind for that position...
