I bought my diamond on ebay last spring, I still have my vogue, and the full insurance. Maybe I should see what they offer when I take my vogue in. I could relock it and flash the stock rom... The camera button sticks down, the right side panel covering the microsd card won't stay closed anymore, and all the chrome surfaces are now brown. Maybe I could get a free touch pro 2 and still keep my diamond

Seriously?? My diamond is currently getting "repaired". I'm going to pick it up from the store in like 30 minutes. The vibrate motor is broken. Anybody think they can fix it? (i hope not)

If they can't fix it, i'll let you all know what I get.

Nope. I've gone through 3 of them because the Vibrate motor stopped working. The techs at my local store swapped the motor out and even a brand new motor wouldn't work in the phone.

10:1 says you'll get a new (probably refurbed) one sent to you.

Color me surprised! I have had two Diamonds that lost vibrate and neither was fixable. Interesting.

As for the dude claiming to get a TP2...I don't believe he just got it. He either had a serious beef or made quite the scene. Then again, stranger things have happened.

It's possible... but not likely regarding the guy who claims he got a TP2 for a Diamond... i also question if they would have offered him a Pre as well... Only a few scenarios come to mind where this might have happened:

1 BRAND new customer whose phone was within the 30 day return period.
2 Got a hook up from someone he knew in the store
3 He's lying...

I vote 3 sorry if I'm wrong but I've been thru 12 diamonds and have gone all the way up the chain to retentions ect and I've never heard of such a thing...

Well he never really said he got it for a diamond, and from the looks of it he has a touch pro just look at his posts or the phone that he owns its a touch pro. He probaly accidently ended up in this thread.

Hey, my husband received a TP2 as a replacement for his. He took it in 3 times for repairs. All of them were crap. So, instead of going to the repair center he went back to a sales store and said he'd like to cancel our account because no one could find a phone that worked. He described how rude the service people were while we waited on the phone. (the truth, unfortunately) Two days before Christmas a TP2 came in the mail.

I've used his phone quite a bit and do not like it at all. When I'm trying to type or view websites my hand keeps hitting the keyboard and sliding it out. It weighs a ton. Can I just have a FREAKING non-KB HTC that doesn't suck!!!??? Sorry, built up anger with Sprint.
