Verizon and at&t are all over the damn net about the launch of there october 6 windows mobile 6.5 phone. And i have one damn question is sprint launching anything at all and i dont mean an upgrade to wm 6.5 to the tp2?

I've got to believe that if Sprint were releasing anything, it would have leaked.

Very disappointed at Sprint right now. Maybe they'll shock me tomorrow by announcing a Leo/HD2 with an upgrade path to WM7 next year. Yeah - I know I'm dreaming .......

That's a very good question. We've heard nothing from Sprint on WM6.5 phones. The Samsung Intrepid (Ace II) is a given, but even that hasn't come up recently. If these things are coming out today, we'd have heard something by now. Very disappointed in Sprint...

There is no question that the TP2 and TD2 are using processors that are already out of date.

If Sprint is indeed getting a Diamond2 derivative in late Nov or early December, it really begs the question as to whether to get it then, or wait for the first quarter of 2010 when there will likely be Snapdragon or Tegra powered devices available.

Hell but at this point would they even get the leo how could they have atleast to this point pass on the whitestone. I mean today is the 6 and iam like waiting for what i cant even get into wm marketplace what the hell is going on man. So sick of this waiting stuff hope someone out there is close to sprint and heard something i did not

I'm with you. Unless the larger screen wows me, I'll probably pass on the TD2 and wait until next year. Will also give me time to see if Sprint will survive - not wanting to extend any contracts at this point anyway.
