I wonder how long "Spring" is going to really be. Kind of begs the question. With the likely announcement, if not release, of WM7 devices coming by the fall, I think I might wait until then to see what kind of devices are going to be available later this year.

The way things are going right now i wonder if all sprint is going to bring us this year are mid level 4g handsets. And we just sit here and watch vzw, t mobile, and even at&t, bring killer handsets to the market.

Re: Sprint Touch Diamond 2

With regard to Sprint and 4G, I can't help but think that they are going to try to charge a premium for its 4G service, if not the handsets themselves. I have nothing to support this, other than the fact that Sprint is requiring Android handsets to have their everything plans.

For those of us with grandfathered or SERO (me) plans, WM7 and/or 4G service, may require similar plan changes.

Meanwhile, T-Mo still has their $40/mo data only plan. Imagine being able to use Google Talk or some other VoIP provider on a handset and never need minutes or paying for text plans or un-wanted features like navi or [Sprint] TV.

My only problem with t mobile is how good is there coverage mine has be good with sprint for years but t mobile seem to be getting the handsets that i want. And if you buy a sprint handset like the hero and pay full price with no upgrade would you then still have to change to a simply everything plan?

Sprint will require you to have a Simply Everything Plan to activate the hero.

Coverage from carrier to carrier is really a function of geography. My wife had T-Mo for years with no coverage issues. Same with Sprint, no coverage issues. However, my friends on ATT always sound like crap when I talk to them, with their voices dropping in and out. This is in south Florida.

As for Android on Sprint, even if you pay full price for the phone, you have to switch to an everything plan.

That's my only concern.. Spring technically starts in April, so it could be anytime from April to June, and I can't wait that long. I really hope we get a definite date soon and that it's no later than March. If it is, then I'm going back to the Nexus One most likely.

Yes, I live in a major metro and T-Mobile has excellent coverage everywhere here with full 3G speeds. Also, I used to have T-Mobile several years ago and their customer service was far superior to any other carrier imho. Their plans are comparable to sprint (I don't have sero etc) so I'm completely sold.

For you Sprint customer users! Even if Sprint has a weak start in the beginning of this year;lets hope & pray that Sprint has a strong finish this year!!!)
