Re: Just bought an Arrive, need some help
Doesn't Mycrosoft's myphone also work for WP7?
Well... I guess the OP still needs a way to connect to the interwebs. OP... Are you at work/away from home and can't this wait till you get home? I think MyPhone or Outlook or Hotmail contacts are your 3 options. The CSV is going to be a very messy process considering you have to transfer the file using Zune sooftware and such. I'm not trying to be rude either... If I was I would have said to have a buddy with an EVO hook you up with some wifi so you can do this. But that's not my goal here. LOL. p. |

Re: Just bought an Arrive, need some help
I ended u having to use the hotmail method because my phone could not sync with MS echange server at my office. Note that you should delete any unwanted hotmail contacts before you transfer your TP2 contacts to hotmail or your Arrive with sync ALL contacts within hotmail.

Re: Just bought an Arrive, need some help
Yupp...
Luckily the workaround that Eric metioned works without the need for layers of filters or otherwise. This is not Android and mentioning or comparing it to... Well just doesn't help the OP. Don't take it the wrong way either... I was an M$ fanboi and now have an EVO... I feel ya. But we are trying to help the OP. p. |

Download and install SPB Backup and use in the trial mode then download and install the SPB desktop backup file unpacker to get your contacts on your computer. Did I miss what the challenge was with ordinary syncing? Also, I wanted to say that I had all kinds of problems with having a little over 5,000 contacts with the TP2, including not being able to use Sense ever and interference from the HTC People App after that, but not as bad and couldn't figure out how to disable the People App. The Arrive handles them, seamlessly, I am very happy to say. matt
