Just bought an Arrive, need some help

The store couldn't transfer my contacts from my TP2 to my Arrive, they said Sprint hadn't sent them the software yet?

I know Ive read on here somewhere that I need to do a CSV file? Can someone put this into simple terms, using baby steps for me?

Is there any other way to do it?

why do people have so much trouble with this? all u simply have to do is set up an MS exchange ActiveSync account with a new hotmail address and then configure it by setting it to sync contacts the same way one would do for Gmail contact sync on the tp2 then once on the arrive enter that same email as the primary hotmail/live account and its done.

HERE is a guide that will explain how to do this. do this on the tp2 then on the arrive login to that hotmail account. I recommend creating an entirely new hotmail account for this. make sure that this is the first account that u setup to sync on the arrive. hope that helps.

nope because it needs a direct connection to the hotmail server so it requires an internet connection. next solution besides trying to locate WiFi is to try to export ur contacts into a .csv file and then importing them to hotmail by transferring such file to ur PC or if u already had them synched in PC outlook u cam export them on there using file>export then import them once in the contacts area of the new live account u just created.

This would be the easiest way to do this. you could do this even if your phone was never synced with a computer. All you need to do this is a hotmail account Outlook and your TP2 and Tp2 USB cable
