Im sorry but are all you people are crazy we are knocking it because it releases FIRST WEEK OF MARCH, NOT FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER all the other devices release in nov, (HD7, And yes those devices are two generations old as of today) From nov to march in technology dates is an entire generation and this phone is now two generations behind what will it be when it releases in march three generation? And thats if its first week of march!

Good response. Not only that, it doesn't have 4G, a 4" AMOLED screen and a Front Facing Camera. My next device has to be better than the Epic 4G. I don't want Android at all and not even thinking of getting one but it would be nice to have a phone that is better than one of the 2 best Sprint phones. If WP7 is to compete with the EVO and EPIC then HTC/Sprint really needs to step this device up. I can't believe the device I've been dreaming about is so disappointing. I'd liek them to delay it and get it right.

No offense but I didnt hear any "official date yet" best I heard was early or first half of 2011. This a vague area at best.

I mean to me at this point you seem to like everything about the epic except android? If these are features that you paticulary want then why not just buy the epic? for the rest of us who dont have 4G (and wont have it for awhile) Dont care about a 4" display or dont really need a front facing camera let us enjoy the phone while you buy something else. I think the epic needs a tilting screen and not have gps and 3g uploading issues at launch but you dont see me making post about how the EPIC is an "EPIC FAIL"

Also just in general WHAT PHONES ARE SO ADVANCED that they outshine this phone in everyway. I would honestly like to see them so maybe ill just by them instead? where are my phones with 1.5 ghz processors and phones with tilting 4" displays weighted to be able to sit idle while tilted? where is all the Super-AMOLED Displays that not even Samsung can afford to put in their own Galaxy tablets and there own second BADA OS phone. I mean do you really want a phone to be released like the HTC Droid Incredible that had soo many shortages and delays that people LITERALLY waited monthes for there phone to become available? By the time they even got there device OTHER devices had already released make IT obsolete.

Alot of this complaining about 1 out of 5 VERY SIMILAR phones for the same platform That we dont even know if it will flop like KIN or not or if it will make enough sales to warrent a Business making a device that retails over 838 and then mass producing 4 other similar devices and trying to make its money back. (this is how much retail is showing for an unlocked version of the HD7 on Amazon.de)

Alot of this just doesnt seem...pratical anymore. If you dont like the phone instead of bashing it on a forum why not just post something about the future devices that are SOOO much better anyways? why not just wait until those phones come out and buy those.

VERY SIMILAR phones? This is the only one from HTC with a keyboard. It fails. Miserably. It is 2 generations behind as of NOW, let alone next year. Pathetic. Unacceptable. That is why we are bashing it.

If you're spending $500+ on a phone, you want something that isn't already obsolete. I'm not paying for last year's technology.

Like you said. I don't want Android and that's enough to make me skip the Epic 4G. If it had WP7 I'd be all over it. Hell if the good people of XDA find a way to rip WP7 and add it to Android devices and this is one of them I'd probably get it. The Epic 4G has better hardware already compared to the Pro 7. 4" Screen, Front Facing Camera and 4G. All make the phone better IMO and when compared to my TP2. The GPs and 3G uploading issues can be fixed via software update. IMO they can even Skip the Tilt Function.

I'm complaing about the ONLY phone that is coming to my carrier. I won't be jumping the Sprint ship for anything. Especially to go to AT&T or Verizon. My main issues is that it's on Sprint and has no 4G and Front facing camera which I think both would've brought a 4" screen with it. I truly believe that WP7 will fair better than the Kin. I think the Kin was a cool platform and I see what MS tried to do there and it's unfortunate that it failed.

Last I checked this was the HTC Pro 7 forum and not the Come show the HTC Pro 7 some love forum. Why shouldn't I come here to rant about what I don't like about the phone? At least I can come here and speak with like minded/tech heads like myself and have a discussion unlike people around me in the real world who really could care less about the subject. Why talk about future phones? I did that with the then Gold_W, now Pro 7 and look at the disappointment that has brought. This is so far Sprints only announced WP7 phone. It's the only to talk about.
