I just flashed to this version(Verizon) and it locks up when it tries to access my 4gb sd card, which was working previously.

Also usually after running these then starting them up, it will run through the verizon customization stuff. It didn't do it this time.

4 gig card huh? mine has never read a 4 gig card, even stock. /weird

hard reset 2 or 3 times if this is your first run-through, seems to have helped many in the past.

the customizations are built into the ROM, if you wanted to keep them you would have needed to run the GENERIC, the generic only flashes the operating system, the full verizon one flashes the operating system, the radio, and the ext.rom (customizations).

if after a few hard resets, youre still having issues, i would be surprised but you can always just flash back the stock VZ, or flash your stock back on, and grab the generic flash and install that.

optionally, you can just pull the ext.rom file from the stock flash and then burn the generic.

Thanks so much for this ROM...love it compared to Mario. But where's Windows Media Player? I don't see it in programs and the only program I can open it with is the today screen music plug-in.

Also, am I suppose to put the MMS .cab file on my phone from the 1.3 folder? I can't send a pic on the phone after I updated.

Picturemail MMS is built right into every ROM except the "GENERIC" labeled one. There is no need to install a cab file to get it to work any longer as this issue has been resolved.

The only reason you would need a cab file to install MMS is if you flashed the "GENERIC" ROM. If that is the case, make sure you install the cab file that carriers your cellular operators picturemail settings.

Media player does not have a shortcut due to TCPMP being installed and having a shortcut. By default however "ALL" media will default to the builtin windows media player. To use TCPMP, you will need to go into the settings menu and then "file associations" and check off which media files you would like TCPMP to be the default player for.

In case your wondering I have not gone with CorePlayer retail because it will not stream "Orb" media streams in either audio or video. On top of that it adds absolutely no functionality, albeit Coreplayer is really nice looking ><
