Thumbs up

HTC home takes some adjustment if you haven't seen it before, so the jury is out until this ol' creature of habit adapts.

Dialer is different from Jimmy98 which had become a friend. The Vibratephonekeys is really missed, since there is no tactile feedback for the dialer, the vibration was great. If there is any option to make that feature compatible please advise.

I am sure a search will help locate Paul Hammond's touch dialer.

Overall this is ROM is stable and reliable

OK The link appeared above, Thanks gbm

Phone dialer was a disaster

I don't know if anyone else had a problem with the phone dialer but it would not work with my XV6700 after the flash and I could not identify any software conflicts with installs and uninstalls of PiePlus, iLauncher, SKTools, Pocket Mechanic, PocketHackMaster, amongst others. The keypad would not come up and would only lock up the phone so it was possible only to dial out contacts that had been already entered. Even then it was necessary to tap touch the screen to get the dialer to complete the call. What saved me was the ETEN Phone dialer (free) and it supposedly has some nice skins which I have not tried (http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm). Since installing the ETEN I have had absolutely no problems with the phone which works flawlessly with MS Voice Command 1.6 even through my Bluetooth Motorola HS 850. The ETEN dialer is nicer anyway with larger keys and better looking interface. Would recommend it to anyone with dialer problems before they try the hard reset routine.

I use sprint service and I love this rom!!!!! I love wm6 it workes like a dream! Deepfish, is really getting alot of my attention as once I got it activated and started learning how to use it I am hooked! I am glad that all of the office apps are there. the dialer is fine for my needs...I just wish that the contacts pictures could be a bit bigger when they show in the dialer. I don't mind not having the voice dialer, since I use MSVC anyway and it works like a dream...I just wish the incoming announcements would work. I also can't figure out how to get my card to be the default storage area. This rom is really incredible! My phone runs faster now then it ever did new!I guess the only thing I would get rid of is the calculator and just keep the calc lite, I like having the tip calculator on it! My only other complaint is the weather app.....I wish there was a way to put my area in instead of having to use st louis. My town isn't in the list and there is no way that I have found yet to input my zip code to search for it.

In general I like the rom. But I am more of a clean and simple guy. I wouldn't put a lot of stuff on. I like resco, but it is trial software and I am getting nag screens. I have a license for the last version but it won't let me install the older one. I go back and forth about the HTC today screen app. I like parts of it, but not others and it is not configurable enough. I had been using SPB Mobile shell, which is also not perfect. I do like the big clock, but overall it takes too much space on the screen.

For those who want to add their own city to the weather app and don't mind a little legwork, look in the software forum here for emunutz's Home Plugin Customizer app. Among many other things it has an easy interface for adding any city you want to the weather app (you can still only select one at a time though).

I agree. If I want demos of products, I can install them later.

I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back. I want to be able to use the newer arcsoft MMS in the new WM6 kitchen...otherwise...love it. superstable, superfast, supercool
