I'm using Resco here to replace them. Total Commander works too (free i think?). You'll get a warning that they are "ROM files" but you can choose to overwrite them anyway.

Omegax: Those files are included in the stock zip in the first post.

I've found out something interesting about the pink problem we were having with the call in progress screen, and i should be able to add borders to it. I'll post again in more detail in a few mins.

Ok. The issue where we couldn't add borders to the call progress buttons without turning them pink has been fixed. The problem was that, for some reason, the dialer uses the 5th pixel in the call progress button images to determine the transparent color and i noticed the buttons were all 1 pixel squared bigger than they needed to be. All i did was draw my border 1 pixel in on all sides and poof, we got transparent bordered buttons on all screens.

I've updated it in the zip in first post and i'm also attaching only those 6 buttons for those who just want to replace them.

Also if you wish to get rid of the carrierlogo or text on the dialer screens you can download the attached carrierlogo.zip and replace\add it to \Windows. You will need to soft-reset for it to take affect.

I would love to use Resco since it's already in the rom, but everytime i try to paste the dialer files, it takes me to the registration screen and says that my "Trial" has expired. I mean if someone has the code or a crack to it, that would b great, but in the mean time i'll give it a try w/ Total Commander.

Could I get a look at the source too? Not gonna go commercial or steal your work. Just wanna play with the program myself. Was thinking of creating something in a mobile version just like this. Adding a "set as dialpad" option to pictures.

Didn't get the time to mess around w/ the button while the phone is in call. The only thing is, 'cause the transparent color is purple color... when i aplly effects to the #'s and letters the purple is getting attached to the edge... *shrugs*

Dialer Skin Customizing

Is there a way to adjust the transperency for the buttons because for some reason my buttons are still grey but the background picture loaded fine and I see people are customizing the button is there a program for this or some settings I'm missing?

I'm no programmer/coder or w/e. I know art and art programs..lol so i just open up the .png files in Photoshop (important not to change the height or width of the image) and edit it there and then load it bak on the phone.

BTW...Tiermann, is there any way u can get the "call status" files? I would like to edit the buttons that show while i'm on a call. Thanks
