Editing the shortcuts to the correct drive would be easier.
Changing the drive letters is never a good idea unless you also have software that is going to go through the drives and change all references to those drives to the new letter. (Registry entries, shortcuts, etc etc.)

I'm having the same problem. I read the instructions, went through step two and get an error when I try to launch BuildOS.

Try this trick.
Quote:
Share out a folder from a usable hard drive (it does not matter what the drive letter is) in theory this could be a network folder Right click on "My Computer" and select "Map Network Drive" then map C: to the folder you just shared \\computername\sharedfolder Not 100% sure this will work for this case, I do not have a computer that is not using C for its OS that I can test this on, but I have used this trick in the past for something similar to this. I hope the instructions are accurate, just typing this from the top of my head. |

stuck in splash screen
Loaded all my software. Set my settings. weorked great, but calendar and contacts are mapped wrong. I didn't do anything to them. Went into soft buttons, did a default, program reset. Stuck in splash screen. Nothing would get me out but a hard reset. Just finished reloading a second time. Still love the new format. Everything works.
